Playing media files on CM-X270W using 2700G accelerator

 

The CM-X270W is capable of playing media with 2700G HW acceleration under Windows CE 5.0

The media player used is TCPMP by CoreCodec.org. TCPMP is open source project provided under GPL license.

The source files of TCPMP can be obtained at http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/

The files in the attached archive are not modified in any way, but repacked for easy installation on the CM-X270W

TCPMP 0.72RC1 for Windows Mobile

Installation

1.      Start with CM-X270W running WinCE 5.0 and connected to host via ActiveSync

2.      Create new directory on CM-X270W named /NAND_flash/tcpmp0_72RC1

3.      Unpack the attached tcpmp-0_72RC1.zip onto your host and copy the files to /NAND_flash/tcpmp0_72RC1

Running TCPMP

1.      Run /NAND_flash/tcpmp0_72RC1/player.exe

2.      Under Options / Video select “Intel 2700G Decoder

3.      Select a media file to play from memory, flash, local disk or network disk
