Post Re: No More Support?????
Hi,

I've tested a little bit further this latest image ->

All GPU samples runs just fine but could no test any of the sound file sample test because the sample.wav was missing. I've downloaded a few test videos and sound files but could not get any sound from them except after installing smplayer. Even with it the videos and the sounds are sluggish and could not find a way to install any codecs updates etc.

Desktop sound notifications and the sound test from the settings panel runs just fine.

Any updates coming with more polished functionality?

WBR

Hello 2kanaa,

This is what CompuLab has as of now with 3.10.17 kernel support:

You are welcome to try it out.

Regards,
Valentin.

Hello Valentin,

I've tried the image and it booted quite fast to the some kind of QT4 test environment, right? It certainly looked interesting/promising platform with all home automation, file manager, video player etc. software demos.

So are you planning to do a Yocto image based on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS for the normal desktop or/and headless server usage or is there a way to some how convert this evaluating image to those purposes (sorry for quite noob question I suppose)?

Hello valentin,

Thank you for updated image. I am wondering if this image is compatible with Utilite Standard Dual core ? And what does DEMO in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS mean, is it a working environment release or only limited to DEMO use ?

Kind regards !
