Post Help Bring the Parallax Propeller Microcontroller to Utilite
As some of you are aware, Utilite benefits from being able to work with Arduino. Arduino and the Arduino IDE allow Utilite to have UDOO like features while retaining an attractive, finished form factor.

The Parallax Propeller Microntroller system offers to equip Utilite with even greater capabilities as compared to Arduino and UDOO. The propeller microcontroller features 8 cores whereas the Atmel ATmega328 used in the Arduino Uno is only single core. See:

In order for Utilite to benefit from the full Propeller experience, it would be very beneficial for the Propeller C-based Independent Development Environment, SimpleIDE, to run in Linux on Utilite. Presently, there is a Raspberry Pi ARMv6 version of SimpleIDE available, but it proves to be incompatible with Utilite ARMv7. However, since SimpleIDE is open source, it should in theory be possible to port it and the compiller engine, Propeller GCC, to Utilite and similar platforms.

Although I do some light coding, I am definitely (most definitely) not an accomplished coder. Therefore, it is probably beyond my capabilities to adapt SimpleIDE to Utilite. However, I intend to pursue the task as far as my abilities will allow.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated by myself, and I am sure by the community.

In the meantime, my Parallax Propeller Breadboard System is complete and ready to go into service with Utilite.
